NYC Venture Fellows
is a highly selective, year-long fellowship program designed to help the next generation of global entrepreneurs “make it” in New York City. Established by the New York City Economic Development Corporation in conjunction with Fordham University, the program provides Fellows with executive-level mentoring, exclusive networking opportunities, and resources to help them scale their businesses.
The 2013 class of NYC Venture Fellows includes 30 entrepreneurs from 8 different international cities. They are the leaders of fast-growing ventures from NYC and around the world, including international digital media and education pioneers, enterprise technology innovators, and social entrepreneurs from countries including Israel, the United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland, and the Philippines.
NYC Venture Fellows Mentors are executives and leaders of world-class organizations such as Lerer Ventures, HUGE, Bloomberg Ventures, FirstMark Capital, IBM, LivePerson, and more. Each Fellow is matched with a team of advisors that may include serial entrepreneurs, CEOs, and investors.
Each class of 20 to 30 Fellows is selected through a competitive nomination and application process to ensure the Fellows' companies have high potential for growth and that the Fellows will benefit from and contribute to the mentoring and networking opportunities.
